Right now, Calvary Chapel Bangkok is only in the very beginning stages. At the moment we are no more than a tiny Bible study that we hold at our house each Saturday night around 6pm in the Ekkami area. Fortunately Jesus said in Matthew 18:20, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” so we are blessed to gather with the Lord and study His Word!

I am so happy to hear that Calvary Chapel is finally coming to Bangkok, Thailand, because me and my fiancé has been praying for that to happen. I am a Thai national living in the US in the last 25 years. I was saved about 6 years ago and the Lord led me directly to Calvary Chapel in San Diego, where I live. I am a student of Pastor Chuck Smith at CCCM and Pastor Rey Bentley of Maranatha Chapel, which has been my home church in the last 5 years. My fiancé, who was saved a few weeks later in Bangkok, is now a full-time evangelist, doing the Lord’s work among Thai and Pakistani people. I am in the process of selling my business in the US, so I can go back to Thailand permanently and serve the Lord along side with her. I should be back in Thailand before the end of the year, the Lord willing. And I will definitely visit your ministry. May God richly bless your work in Thailand.
